Especially convenient: the Schlossalmbahn in Bad Hofgastein is located directly across from BERGLIFT and takes you comfortably up into the Gastein mountain world in summer. Once you arrive at the top, continue on foot – with panoramic views, fresh mountain air, and the next place to stop usually not far away.

Want a bit more action? At Flying Waters in Bad Gastein you soar on a zipline across the gorge of the Gasteiner Ache – about 90 meters above the ground and with a pretty extraordinary view of the famous waterfall.

On the roughly 300-meter route, you go from Villa Solitude to the thermal spring park. Below you the water rushes, all around the historic backdrop of Bad Gastein appears, and beyond that the mountains await.
